The Big Bear Goalkeeper School
Under the floodlights on a Friday evening, we’re launching a new group session just for keepers. The Big Bear Goalkeeper School is designed to give young goalkeepers a dedicated space to develop their skills, build confidence and learn the position properly, all in a supportive Big Bear environment.
Specific training, for a unique position.
Goalkeeping is one of the most unique positions on the pitch, and it deserves training that reflects that. While team sessions are important, they often can’t give goalkeepers the focused time they need to work on the specific skills the role demands. Dedicated goalkeeper training allows young keepers to build confidence, communication and an understanding of the position so they feel comfortable and proud playing between the posts.
At Big Bear, we believe giving goalkeepers their own space to learn and improve is an important part of helping them enjoy the game and grow in their role.
